From Castricum to the Handelskade
By car you're here in about 15 minutes. You drive straight through Heemskerk into Beverwijk. No motorway needed, no tunnel, and free parking right outside at the end.
By train it's under ten minutes. Castricum and Beverwijk are two stops apart on the Kennemerlijn, with a direct train every half hour. From Beverwijk station it's an eight-minute walk. For children of around ten and up who are allowed to travel by train on their own, that's a small adventure in itself.
Of all the towns around here, Castricum gets you through the door quickest. An hour-and-a-half party takes up no more than half an afternoon.
