Haarlem is our biggest town. Not Beverwijk, where we're based, but Haarlem: more guests come from that city than from our own municipality. That tells you plenty about what a twenty-minute drive is worth.
At PlayKinetix you're not celebrating in a function room with a bouncy castle. The children play in 9 interactive game rooms with light-up floors, wall buttons and team challenges that respond to what they do. Running, working together, scoring — and a wristband that automatically keeps track of who's winning.
From Haarlem to the Handelskade
By car you're here in about 20 minutes. From Haarlem you take the N208 through Santpoort and Driehuis, or pick up the A9 towards Alkmaar and come off at the Beverwijk exit. Both routes bring you out on the Handelskade.
You park for free right outside — no parking disc, no ticket machine, no circling the block on a Saturday afternoon.
By train it takes about 20 minutes too. Haarlem and Beverwijk are on the same railway line, the Kennemerlijn, with a direct train every half hour. From Beverwijk station it's another eight minutes on foot. Handy if you have a group of teenagers who can make their own way, or if you'd rather not run two cars back and forth.
For a party of an hour and a half, allow around three hours door to door. That's an afternoon, not a day out.

What it costs and how it works
A kids' party costs €24.50 per child for an hour and a half of play. In the XL version they play two blocks of 45 minutes. The party comes with your own table, lemonade and something to nibble on; cake, fries or an ice cream can be booked as extras. The morning party on Saturday and Sunday starts at €19.50 per child.
You hold a date with no obligation first — nothing is binding until you confirm. Handy if you still need to check with other parents or with school.
