Team outing
in Noord-Holland
that isn't rained off
Indoors, active and on your feet. From 6 colleagues, and the bigger the team, the lower the rate per person.
- from 6 people upwards
- €24.50 p.p. from 35 people
- 70 people in the park at once
Organising an outing everyone joins in with
You're the one who has to arrange it. Pick a date almost everyone can make, find a place that isn't in Amsterdam, and keep the whole thing within budget. And on top of that it has to be something the entire department takes part in, not just the sporty half.
PlayKinetix is an indoor game park in Beverwijk with 9 game rooms. Light-up floors that respond to your feet, walls with buttons that light up, challenges you can only solve together. Everyone gets a wristband that tracks the scores automatically. No screen, no controller, and you're on your feet the whole time.
The most important practical point is already above: it's indoors. A team outing in November doesn't have to be called off because it's raining.
Planning indoors saves a lot of hassle
Most active outings in Noord-Holland are outdoors. That's fine in June. In October, January or March it's a gamble, and you're taking that gamble on behalf of thirty colleagues.
Here the weather plays no part. It's heated, dry and lit, so you don't need a back-up plan and nobody has to bring boots. A date in autumn works just as well here as a date in May.
That's also why teams from all over the province end up here. Beverwijk lies between the coast, the Zaanstreek and Kennemerland, and parking is free, right outside the door.
What it costs per person
The price works on a sliding scale: the bigger the team, the lower the rate per person. Below you can see what each package includes.
Team outing Fun Deal
- 1.5 hours of playing in all the game rooms
- 1 drink
- From 14 people €30.50 p.p.
- From 21 people €28.50 p.p.
- From 28 people €26.50 p.p.
- From 35 people €24.50 p.p.
A worked example: with 12 colleagues you pay €33.50 per person for the Fun Deal, with 21 colleagues €28.50. So if you're just below a threshold, a team of 20 can end up cheaper as a team of 21.
The doubts you probably have
Four things organisers ask us beforehand, with an honest answer.
Does everyone really join in?
The rooms ask you to react and work together, not to be fit. You can run flat out, but you can also stay where you are and hit the right button at the right moment. Differences in age and fitness show up in the score, not in who's standing on the sidelines.
Isn't this mainly something for children?
During the day at weekends it's often parties, but on weekdays and in the evenings it's adult groups playing. Every bit as fierce, and the argument about the scoring comes with it.
We're coming straight from the office
There's no need to change. Shoes you can move in are more comfortable than smart shoes with a smooth sole. And yes, you will get warm.
Is an hour and a half enough?
As game time, yes; as a whole evening, no. Count on arriving, the briefing, playing and then sitting down with something to eat or drink. If you want to make a longer programme of it, let us know in advance.
How a team outing runs here
From the moment you pick a date to the moment everyone heads home again.
- 1BeforehandHold a date with no obligation
You can hold a date before you book for real. Handy when you're still waiting on the four colleagues who never answer an email.
- 2On arrivalWristband on, short briefing
Everyone gets a wristband that tracks the scores automatically. So nobody has to stand on the sidelines with a list.
- 31.5 hoursThrough the rooms in small groups
You go around the game rooms in small groups and rotate. That way half a department isn't left waiting for a room to come free.
- 4AfterwardsSitting down and talking it over
With Game & Bites and the Drinks Deal the food is included. Anyone who'd rather eat elsewhere takes the Fun Deal and leaves afterwards.
Practical: days, group size and getting here
The park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. That's the main restriction, and you'd rather know it now than after three rounds of emails about the diary. On Wednesdays and Thursdays you can start up to 18:00, on Fridays and Saturdays up to 22:00 and on Sundays up to 18:00 again. For groups we agree the exact time together.
70 people can be in the park at once. So a small team of 6 works, and a department of 40 does too.
Parking is free, right outside the door. Beverwijk station is an 8-minute walk away, so anyone who wants a drink doesn't have to come by car.

Frequently asked questions from organisers
How many people do we need to come?
From 6. That goes for the Fun Deal, Game & Bites and the hour of gaming. The Drinks Deal starts from 8 people. So a small team doesn't have to wait until the whole department can join.
What does it cost per person?
The Fun Deal starts at €33.50 per person and drops to €30.50 from 14 people, €28.50 from 21, €26.50 from 28 and €24.50 from 35. With food included it's €39.50 (Game & Bites) or €49.50 (Drinks Deal).
Can we come on a Monday or Tuesday?
No, the park is closed on those two days. Wednesday to Sunday is fine. On Fridays and Saturdays you can start latest, up to 22:00.
Can we hold a date while we're still checking internally?
Yes. You can hold a date with no obligation before you book for real. If you're unsure about the time or the group size, run it past us via contact.

Pick a date or talk it over first
Hold a date before it's gone, or ask your question about group size, timing and food. Either is fine.
